Position Description :

Installs, calibrates, and maintains pressure, measurement, and related equipment.
Independently installs, tests, repairs, and maintains regulator settings and relief valves. Assists with installations and configurations of large industrial meter sets or pressure monitoring sites.
Installs, tests, calibrates, and / or maintains gas measurement, regulation, and recording devices and equipment including but not limited to :
Pigging lines
Locating lines
Blowing drips
Changing charts
Filling odorant pots
Regulating gas flow and / or pressure
Monitoring dew points
Collecting gas samples
Assists with installing, testing, calibrating, and / or maintaining gas measurement, regulation, and recording devices and equipment including but not limited to :
Chromatographs / Sampling systems
Electronic odorization systems
Flow computers
Satellite equipment
Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system and remote terminal units and equipment
Filling and maintaining odorant supply
Conducts field tests and / or proving meters and modifications to regulators and reliefs.
Drives and maintains company vehicle.
Prepares and reviews applicable compliance reporting
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
Minimum H.S. Diploma HS Diploma or equivalent
Proficient in basic use of computers, including Microsoft Suite as needed.
Demonstrated ability to install and maintain regulation equipment.
Demonstrated ability of use, function, and maintenance of tools applicable to position.
Working knowledge in application of basic arithmetic : addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (tested).
Working knowledge and training relative to :
Company and governmental operating / safety procedures
Pressure monitoring sites and maintenance requirements
Basic customer service activities
Characteristics of natural gas
Knowledge of transmission and / or distribution pipeline systems.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret internal and external mapping applications, work logs, job orders, consumption rates, charts, and operational and repair manuals.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Preferred CDL preferred (with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements).
Lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds 10-15 times a day; up to 20 pounds 5-10 times a day; up to 30 pounds 5-10 times a day;
over 50 pounds 3-5 times a day.
