DESCRIPTION:
Project Coordinator ONE HAT ONE HAND
The Project Coordinator supervises and drives projects through fabrication, finishing, and installation. Responsibilities include the completion of projects on time, within budget, and meeting our quality control levels. The role is approximately divided into 75% on the floor with fabrication and finish teams, and 25% at the desk, or in meetings with designers or management. A Project Coordinator at One Hat One Hand must be capable of contributing to multiple projects at a time.
A wide degree of creativity, foresight, and communication is expected in the role. A hands-on approach to fabrication and production processes is required.

Role Description:
To coordinate projects, work with design and production teams to deliver successful projects.
Primary duties of the Project Coordinator role include:
- Create, maintain and communicate project timelines using Gantt charts
- Review shop drawings, to verify constructability and advise on needed improvements
- Manage project procurement including material intake and organization, and hardware
- Supervise, advise and participate with fabrication, finishing, and installation teams per project
- Communicate with Fabrication, production management, and designers to ensure project needs, timelines, and budget are met
- Maintain quality control of of projects
- Utilize personal skills and strengths to create an environment of efficiency, growth, and creative problem solving
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Three years in a leadership position, ideally in the fields of Construction, Architectural Fabrication, and/or Production
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
- Fluency in reading blueprints and shop drawings
- Aptitude in project management tools such as Asana, Slack, GSuite
- Understanding of fabrication and finishing techniques utilized at One Hat One Hand, and by outside vendors
- Ability to meet hard deadlines at fast pace
- Knowledge of the following programs or types of programs:
- Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Cal)
- Slack
- 3d modeling software
- Asana
