Grant Finance Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:  Records transactions within the organization’s grant operations.  Responsible for overseeing grant transactions recorded in the software, communicating with grant manager, payroll, and accounts payable; ensuring transactions are allowable grant expenses as stated in the grant provisions.  Provides input to grant managers and director of finance in matters of grant finance.

COMPENSATION: $17.10-$17.69 / hr DOE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time 

AVAILABILITY: Monday to Friday

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education/Certificates/Licenses: 

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or another related field

Experience:

Required

• Knowledge of federal guidelines regarding budget and financing
• Automated accounting and billing systems
