What you'll be working on:
- See patients for a broad array of patient needs in a non panel building role; conducting a mix of acute and chronic visits including, but not limited to:
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries (e.g. URIs, sore throat, UTIs, sprains, minor burns, etc.)
- STI testing and treatment
- In-office outpatient procedures such as laceration repair
- Treating patients in-office at multiple offices in San Francisco and East Bay, testing centers, as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- Completed an accredited FNP program or PA program with a national certification
- State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- In the past 5 years, practiced as a full family Advanced Practitioner for at least:
- 2 years in an urgent care or emergency care setting, OR
- 1 year in an urgent care or emergency care setting coupled with 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting
- Experience in LARC (IUD Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures a plus
