Digital Art & Design Teachers - Part Time and Full Time

One River School of Art & Design, a company whose mission is to “transform art education”, is looking for part time and full time digital art and design teachers. We are looking for hard-working, team players who love helping people learn and are motivated to grow.

One River has developed a new method for teaching art that makes it fun to learn while also producing compelling outcomes.  We teach a variety of proprietary classes to students of all ages that builds proficiency in digital drawing, painting, graphic design, illustration and animation.  Our digital suite is state of the art and you will find that teaching at One River is a completely different experience than any other art program in the country.  We are simply the best place to work in the arts are are building a differentiated career experience for compelling educators.

The ideal candidate is a thoughtful digital art educator with a proven track record of delivering engaging and student centric experiences in the classroom. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about art, focused on great student outcomes and also want to make sure that their students students have fun.  Lastly, they need to be prepared and open to ideas and feedback.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 2+ years teaching experience in a public / private school or alternative art education program
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited, four-year college or university
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Knowledge of Adobe Animate a plus
• Solid leadership skills (prior experience a plus)
• MFA or MA in Art Education preferred
• Thoughtful communication skills
• A passion for One River School’s mission
• Able to work a non-traditional schedule, Saturdays required
