Duties & Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance Tech (FMT) play a key role by keeping our facilities safe and in excellent condition
As a Facility Maintenance Tech, you will help ensure our properties present well and that safety and security measures are being met
- Executing daily site walks; checking for cleanliness, hazards, unit count, damage repair
- Completing vacancy checks, marking vacant units, reporting unauthorized move ins
- Vacant unit condition checks and upkeep prior to customer move in
- Responsible for daily onsite facility maintenance site upkeep and repair
- Janitorial services for the facility
- Clean out and removal of debris, belongings left in units
- Collaborate with remote staff to ensure the property is operating efficiently
- Managing overlocking units when instructed due to overdue rents, removing overlocks when ledgers are cleared
- Supporting in the auction process when required
- Seasonal upkeep of the property (snow removal/trash pickup/landscape)
Additionally, you will utilize your other skills such as basic plumbing, electrical, door and drywall repairs, replacing locks and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Well organized and strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Self starter and the ability to work independently.
- You are a hands-on type of individual, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, use hand/power tools to get things done
- You enjoy preventive maintenance; you have a keen eye and ensure things are upkept and fixed before they become a bigger issue
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must possess a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance
- Must complete & pass a criminal record check

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $300.00 per week
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
