Reports to: Shipping Manager or Supervisor
Summary/Objective
The stacker is responsible for the accurate gathering and stacking of product in the shipping department.
Essential Functions

- Stack and palletize product to company standards.
- Perform the tasks associated with the department to set the pace for daily productivity.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines to prevent personal injury and product and facility damage.
- Possess an understanding of daily productivity goals.

- Communicate effectively and efficiently with all company associates.
- Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and can be loud. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position can regularly require long hours.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Licensed forklift operator.
Preferred Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- One or more years of related experience and/or training in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
