We are now hiring a full-time salaried NodeJS Developer to join our team at our corporate HQs in Indianapolis, IN.
NodeJS Developer | About You
As a NodeJS Developer, you will design and develop dynamic user-facing interactive visualization tools with high-performing responsiveness, usability, and visual appeal. You are passionate about telling stories and can drive the development process from the initial prototype through the implementation of the final product. Opportunities to implement solutions using JavaScript libraries and tools, primarily NodeJS.
NodeJS Developer | Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to formulate and complete full cycle analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, and strategic insights and recommendations.
- Meet with internal clients, business analysts, testers, UX designers, and data developers to drive designs and issues to resolution.
- Write, modify, and debug web applications using NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment.
- Create modern and responsive layouts from designs and messaging provided by the creative team.
- Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes.
NodeJS Developer | Skills & Experience
- 5 years of NodeJS or JavaScript development.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript with extensive experience with at least two flavors, such as NodeJS, ReactJS, BoneJS, or D3JS.
- Experience implementing web services (SOAP and RESTful).
- Experience connecting front-end interfaces with SQL or NoSQL.
- Fluent in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery.
- Fluency in other complementary JavaScript-based tools and frameworks.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Experience analyzing data using Python is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and coding best practices.
- An understanding of Agile/Scrum development and a collaborative, proactive attitude.
