Oneida Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work at our cardiology practice in an outpatient setting in Oneida, NY. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can “hit the ground running.” Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with one remote admin day. There is no call requirement.
Compensation: $98,500 to $135,000 per year based on experience

What You’ll be Great At:
- Conducting physical exams, assessing a patient’s health status, ordering and interpreting necessary tests, prescribing medications, and treating illnesses.
- Consulting with physicians as needed and referring to physicians for guidance on more complicated medical cases or cases that are not a routine part of the NP’s scope of work.
- Assuming responsibility for diagnosing and treating acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues.
- Educating patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.
- Working in an interdependent relationship with other multidisciplinary team members allowing for consultation, collaboration, and referral.
- Maintaining accurate, legible, and confidential medical records.
- Participating in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications
Your Essential Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s of Science in Nursing (Preferred)
- License:
- NY Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority (Required)
- Experience:
- Two to three years of experience (Preferred). New grads are encouraged to apply
