SUMMARY: The Process Improvement Intern will be responsible for observing processes and procedures in our Bottling Department and helping to make process improvements.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Bottling or Operations team and Continuous Improvement Coordinator to find processing improvement changes to processes or equipment centers
• Observe equipment centers and processes in conformance with SOPs as well as GMPs
• Assist with correcting deviations and developing training opportunities
• Develop and revise SOPs for equipment/production processes as needed
• Translate processing data into daily report out
• Track and document downtime events for processing areas
• Report out reoccurring downtime issue so that we can develop corrective actions to eliminate the downtime
• Input data into KipTraq where applicable
• Report on Daily Continuous Improvements
• Review process for safety improvement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or upper division coursework in Industrial Technology or related major
• Ability to work independently and communicate well
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work up to six days a week on variable or rotating shifts
• Ability to climb stairs and to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outside in hot or cold weather

Production offices, Bottling Lines, Warehouse and Bottling Tank Farm (outdoors)
