What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Analyst position at OneSparQ's Client?

OneSparQ is looking for a talented Brand Analyst focused on intelligence reports and data analytics for client reputation. The role is hybrid onsite/remote and based in Chicago, IL. Must be flexible to work an alternate schedule as well as a weekend shift once every 7 weeks.

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Hands on experience navigating through analytical, social media and AI platforms/tools

· A background in PR, branding, social media, or marketing

· Great communicator, able to write pithily and with impact, and able to influence others.

· Comfortable manipulating the internet data and can provide insight to client

· Accountable and capable of working independently during alternate shifts

Additional Skills:

· PR firm or agency experience

· Social media/brand marketing reporting and analyzing

Job Responsibilities:

· We need someone who is a keen problem solver, with a highly inquisitive nature. You should be open to regular discussions about how something is done, why it is happening and where to look to identify crisis early in the cycle.

· You should have a genuine interest in researching topics and be proactive in finding the problems before they become a real crisis for brands.

· The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize across competing tasks.

· Be comfortable working with innovative technology, although not be themselves necessarily technical.

· Using a variety of tools, search engines and proprietary technology, you will uncover and report on social media crisis situations, in real time, as it unfolds.

· You will respond to trends emerging from social media users, news publishers, law makers, brand ambassadors, as well as produce crisis topic intelligence reports for the largest brands on the planet, before, during and after a social media crisis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
