Job Description:
As part of the Marketing and Communications team reporting to the Director, the Creative Services Program Manager works closely with other Intermountain Healthcare professionals, as well as with other internal and external audiences to manage approved marketing and communications projects and functions system-wide. This position creates and implements marketing and communications plans, helps manage the organization's response to emerging local and national issues, and manages assigned communication channels, portfolios, or functions. This position builds mutually positive and constructive relationships among Intermountain Healthcare, its stakeholders, and the community.

- 9-5 MT, mostly remote with in-office happening around once a month

Essential Functions:

1. Leads and manages a creative team consisting of copywriters, graphic designers and print production specialist. Provides guidance and feedback to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment and mentors and assists designers and copywriters with conceptual thinking, development, presentation, and execution of creative ideas.

2. Conducts regular performance evaluations, provides feedback, and supports the professional growth of team members, including monthly, quarterly, and annual improvement reviews.

3. Leads the design teams in strategy, concepting, design, presentation and handoff of best-in-class brand and product storytelling that moves both customers and the business.

4. Raises the overall design bar of the work by elevating our brand style, process and methodology across your channels and the larger creative team.

5. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal clients, partner agencies, contractors, and leadership and collaborates across teams to establish / scale a modular and templated design system to empower both creativity and efficiency for design, marketing, and sales teams.

6. Inspires, supports, and leads creative direction across multiple ongoing projects, including seasonal, promotional, social, advertising, web, and brand initiatives.

7. Develops a deep knowledge of the brand, our categories, and products to apply across all work.

8. Acts as the direct point of contact for creative questions from internal and contract designers and copywriters.

9. Represents the Creative Services team in key meetings, collaborating with stakeholders and reporting on task progression. Attends and leads meetings to present creative concepts and understand project objectives at various stages, grasp project requirements and ensure successful asset delivery.

10. Collaborates with Customer Experience UX team and the Creative Services Team to adhere to brand guidelines and assess creative asset needs, software needs, etc.

11. Collaborates with the Brand Director to optimize the visual style and update brand guidelines as necessary. Maintains consistent visual branding across all content, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling.

12. Stays current with industry best practices, trends, digital platforms, media, techniques, and materials. Stays informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, implementing innovative techniques to enhance visual storytelling.

13. Spearheads conceptual development and collaborate with designers and copywriters to create innovative ideas.

14. Develops production proposals, including creative briefs, treatments, mood boards and shot lists. 15. Promotes mission, vision, and values of Select Health, and abides by service behavior standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated design with copywriting experience and excellent design skills with a strong attention to detail, quality, and editing.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of layout and design principles for digital, video and print production.

Demonstrated working knowledge of software packages for graphic design, including InDesign, Photoshop,

Illustrator and Microsoft Office.

Demonstrated experience working with Brand initiatives and best practices.

Demonstrated strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

Demonstrated exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communication, or related fields.

Five years of related work experience.

Five years in design with copywriting experience

Two years of team management, leadership, and mentorship experience

Six years of extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Experience working in healthcare, insurance or similar industry.

Preferred experience in Figma

Preferred portfolio link to design and copy projects from previous roles.

A positive attitude that motivates and energizes teams and functional marketing units.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
