The Challenge
Due to rapid growth and increased demand for our Privacy, Security and Third-Party Risk platform, OneTrust is seeking Marketing Interns for the Summer 2022 semester. Marketing Interns will assist on projects within a specific team out of the following: content migration, product marketing, or social media.
Content Migration: OneTrust is embarking on a large initiative in 2022 to migrate the majority of their marketing websites (including our main site, OneTrust.com) to a new content management platform. Currently we are on WordPress, but our needs as a company have outgrown what WordPress is able to provide. The intern(s) that join our project will play a key role in ensuring that important content is successfully migrated to the new platform.
Product Marketing: Reporting to VP, Portfolio Marketing, this role will support process documentation, organized as both flow diagrams and playbooks, as the product marketing team develops and refines its overall rhythm of business at OneTrust.
Social Media: The internship project will focus on promoting OneTrust’s employee-first culture on our social media channels, not only humanizing our OneTrust social media brand but also helping promote our hiring needs, push forward the One Team OneTrustinitiative on social media, and cultivate the OneTrust community on social media.
Your Mission
- Migrates content between content management systems (WordPress to Adobe Experience Manager)
- Ensures quality by comparing pages on the previous system to the new one
- Ensures that the transferred content is accurate
- Participates in agile processes such as daily standups, sprint planning and retrospectives, etc. and functions as part of the overall engineering team
- Delivers and reviews weekly status reports with manager to outline progress of assigned content to be migrated
- Develops playbooks, guidelines, and/or process flows utilizing tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, or similar alternatives.
- Additionally, intern may support content updates (i.e. copyright notices on existing materials and/or updating content or designs for same as needed)
- Creates and develop a OneTrust culture centric social media strategy (with assistance from broader social media team) to help highlight our benefits and desirable positions
- Works closely with graphics to build out eye catching social media posts
- Assists talent acquisition in social media efforts.
- Regularly posts on social media for the project (at least 5x a week)
- Measures success of campaign based on engagement and clicks in social media scheduling software

- Detail-oriented and able to follow a defined process exactly
- Able to work hybrid in the Atlanta Office
Your Experience Includes
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Basic computer skills (usage of the web, MS Office, MS PowerPoint etc.)
- Basic social media knowledge (LinkedIn, Twitter & Instagram)
- Strong social media writing skills
Extra Awesome
- Pursuing a Master's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field
- Understanding of user experience best practices is a plus
- Previous use of JIRA is a plus
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems is a plus
- Graphic design or Ux skills a plus
- Visio or similar (Figma for example) experience is a plus
