What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailer position at OneWater Marine?
Description
Detailers are responsible for effectively cleaning in an efficient manner that promotes the overall professional image of their respective OneWater store. They contribute to the customer’s delight and satisfaction by enhancing the appearance of every boat on the lot. The position is non-exempt.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently cleans the exterior and interior of units/vehicles to enhance the appearance and increase their sale value
- Adds and removes decals and makes minor cosmetic repairs (trim, putty, paint, frames, hitches, and steps)
- Follows all safety and compliance regulations
- The ongoing upkeep of the inventory on the sales yard
- Keeps total facility clean, including offices, lunchroom, bathrooms, and all common areas
- Removes trash from the facility and maintains outside garbage collection area
- Maintains daily upkeep of store grounds, including garbage pickup and grass cutting
Qualifications & Expectations
- Exhibits a positive and energetic appearance in the work environment that contributes to the Sales and Service team members’ objectives
- Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed
- Proves reliability and discipline by following all timekeeping rules
- Promotes team attitude and supports other team members, departments, and locations to ensure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery, and subsequent servicing of the boat
- Preserves the professional image of the dealership through cleanliness
- Effective detailing and cleaning of all assigned units
- Positive interaction with all team members
- Attention to Detail, Ability to learn about boats, Follow directions
- Lift 10 lbs infrequently, Standing, Climbing, Constant use of Hands, Outdoors
