Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management and leadership of the shop operation; to include production scheduling, precast manufacturing, mold making, packaging, shipping and receiving.

1. Responsibilities

A.  Safety

·       Promote and engage in a safe work environment.

·       Report safety incidents

·       Display good housekeeping in work areas.

·       Ensure adherence to OSHA and Onex safety policies.

B.  Planning Scheduling

·       Use AutoCAD to create detailed drawings to facility 3D Part printing and 5 Axis CNC Styrofoam wire cutter.

·       Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.

·       Review designs / drawings with team members to make sure they meet customer specifications.

·       Review plant layout and make suggestions on part movement and workflow.

·       Understanding of furnace programming and operation

·       Implement quality standards as part of workflow.

C.  Supervision

• Meets regularly with senior company leadership to make sure that procurement goals are being met and suggest changes in course direction as necessary.
• Perform employee performance reviews and maintain regular communication with team members, to include discipline as necessary.
• Recommending personnel actions such as hiring, terminating, promotions and discipline.

D. Administration

·       Oversight of physical inventory, scheduling and monitoring results.

·       Participate in developing, implementing, and guiding of trucking schedule.

·       Identifies ways to improve efficiency.

• 3D Modeling capability and mechanical aptitude
• Autocad or similar 3D Modeling experience with hands on experience in building what you design.

• Workers need to inform their supervisors if they are taking a prescription drug that can cause impairment and affect their work.
• Onex has zero tolerance for employees performing their job under the influence of classes of drugs which can impair or affect work.
