Position Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Washington DC/NCR Area/Hybrid
Clearance: None
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, including negotiation, drafting, execution, and closure.
- Review contract terms, conditions, and requirements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including but not limited to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS).
- Ability to foster collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to include Contracting Officers and CORs, Operations, Program Control, Pricing, BD/Capture, Procurement, and HR.
- Facilitate contract execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.
- Counsel and serve as main resource on all matters of a contractual nature for assigned contracts.
- Negotiate favorable agreements to include Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs).
- Prepare reports and documentation related to contract status, modifications, and renewals.
- Assist in maintenance and creation of contractual templates.
- Lead or assist training related to contracting compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all contracts and related correspondence.
- Develop working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Participate in internal, partner, and customer meetings as required.
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS/BA with 7 years of related experience, or equivalent.
- Experience in managing prime contracts and/or subcontracts.
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office including but not limited to MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Experience with all forms of government solicitations (RFP, RFQ, and other forms) and managing all forms of government contracts (Cost Type, FFP, T&M, ID/IQ contracts, GWACS, and GSA schedule contracts), including reviewing and understanding pricing, representations and certifications, and subcontracting issues.
- Detailed knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
- Firm understanding of OCI issues and mitigation/avoidance strategies.
- Ability to summarize/synopsize contract analysis during contract performance for management consideration.
- Experience with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active participation with NCMA is a plus.
- Experience with GSA MAS and Government IDIQ regulations and reporting.
