Responsibilities:
- Lead the team as the kitchen lead with honesty, just, integrity and character
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or inquiries
- Adhere to shift management procedures and ensure smooth transitions between shifts
Qualifications:
- Food Handler's Certificate card required but able to negotiate
- Previous experience in a fast casual restaurant is desirable but not required
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in interviewing, training, and managing a team is desirable but not required
