What You'll Do as a Pallet & Crate Builder:
- You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Gathers materials, lumber, or plywood for daily work orders.
- Read blueprints and or dimensional drawings to build pallets/crates to specifications.
- Fit parts together by constructing and assembling wooden pallets or crates.
- Use basic hand tools or nail guns for assembly.
- Inspect products to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Stack completed product, as well as cover, label, and band components or finished products, as needed.
Work Experience
The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have manufacturing and assembly experience or be eager to learn new skills
- Be familiar with using nail guns and basic hand tools
- Be capable of working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Have the ability to use precision measuring tools and read tape measures
- Be Goal-oriented and a Team Player
- Have composite or steel-toe shoes (discounted purchasing options available)
- Need to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, or carry loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
