Job Description

Do you have a passion for textiles and a keen eye for detail? Ōnin Staffing is seeking a skilled Weaver to join our dynamic manufacturing team!

• 1st Shift : 10 hrs, Monday-Thursday, 5am-3pm (some overtime may be required on Fridays)
• Full-time : 40 hours per week overtime opportunity
• Competitive pay : $17.00 - $21.00 / hour depending on experience

What You'll Do as a Weaver :

• You'll play a vital part in bringing high-quality woven fabrics to life!
• Operate and monitor weaving machines (Jacquard looms) to precise specifications.
• Thread looms with the perfect yarns, maintaining proper tension and alignment.
• Maintain a hawk eye for defects, keeping quality at its peak!
• Perform basic machine adjustments and setups, following established procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading fabric rolls.
• Participate in routine maintenance tasks (as instructed).
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Keep your work area clean and organized, fostering a safe and efficient environment.

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might :

• Have a minimum of 6 months' experience operating weaving machines or Jacquard looms
• Be detail-oriented with an eye for color (fabric knowledge is a plus!)
• Be able to focus and handle repetitive tasks for 10-hour shifts
• Need to be physically active (walking, standing, bending, stretching)
• Be able to lift yarn packages (up to 11 lbs.)
• Have steel-toe shoes / boots as required (ask about discount options!)
