Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:15a-1:45p, rotating Saturday 5:45a-9:30a

Position Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in the treatment of patients. The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record and works with the Director of Nursing to assure appropriate medical care for patients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication
- Monitors medication inventory and reports to the charge nurse. Reconciles inventory of Methadone and Suboxone at conclusion of dosing
- Signs and processes physician orders and monitors vital signs for changes.
- Completes COWs as needed to process dose changes and puts notes in systems
- Participates in the Treatment team and regular Medical Meetings as per Licensure standards.
- Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Pennsylvania license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Some understanding of substance abuse.
- Ability to make independent decisions when needed
- Proficient in the use of personal computers
- Successful completion of State required background check and required training.
