Purchasing Manager
Location: 2001 E Lake Mary Blvd. Sanford, FL
Overview:
The Purchasing Manager works closely with production to ensure that all raw materials maintain a consistent and balanced inventory level while overseeing overall operational and daily goals of the department.
Pay: Based on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

What you can expect when you are selected:
- Daily/weekly/monthly invoicing on purchases

Continual support to purchasing assistants to provide leadership, training, and development

Interactions with Production managers as well as officers to provide insight on products and services. This includes negotiating pricing and contracts

Speak with internal customers on researching new products and services and requesting quotes on pricing and contracts

Continual review of deadlines to prevent and problems or finding solutions to existing issues

Reviewing processes on a regulatory basis for general improvement

Work with Accounting for reconciliation on all activity for accounts payable and receivable for credits earned.

Participate in ISO, Customer, and year end audits

Accounting skills are desired but not required

Must be willing to work additional hours or beyond standard schedule with little to no notice.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, mathematics, or related field

APICS certification is also desired
-
At least 5 years of Purchasing experience

At least 2 years of Purchasing Management experience
