Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager who will take overall responsibility for all services supplied to all allocated projects. Being the first point of contact for the clients, the Project Manager will work closely with the clients to deliver total customer satisfaction from design development through to production and handover.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring the continued improvement and enhancement of the delivery experience to the client while maximizing efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities of our Project Manager will include:

• To act as the primary interface between Onnec and the clients in respect of being the first point of contact for design, operational and financial matters.
• Overall responsibility for the projects PNL.
• Production and issue of accurate monthly internal financial reports to the Operations Manager.
• Responsibility for producing specific backup financial documents for each project.
• To compile and produce monthly client reports for review by the Operations Manager.
• To plan and coordinate design and production activities.
• Plan and coordinate material procurement and supply chain liaison per project plans.
• To plan and coordinate resourcing requirements in line with project plans.
• To plan and coordinate 3rd party suppliers in line with project plans.
• To plan and coordinate project handover documentation in line with project plans.
• Develop project handover documentation.
• Ensure the Design and Production teams adhere to published Contractual and Commercial responsibilities.
• Provision of regular updates to the internal team through internal meetings and reports.
• Transference of all Onnec and Manufacturers Warranties to the Contracts team upon project completion.
• Overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining both Onnec and the Client's Health & Safety Policies.
• Overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining Onnec and the Client’s Quality Assurance Policies.
• Overall responsibility for all deliverables (including documentation) conforming to both Onnec and the Client’s published Quality Management System.
• Overall accountability for all actions of the Onnec project teams.
• Overall responsibility for the motivation and development of allocated resources.
• Act as an escalation point for internal resources and client management teams.

What we’re looking for in our Project Manager:

Essential:

• Extensive experience in Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling deployments
• Extensive experience in Project Planning activities
• Ability to produce and deliver client presentations in a clear, concise, and confident manner
• Ability to absorb and manage new services and applications.
• Experience and temperament to deal with multiple site design and production activities
• Proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel
• Experience in delivering services against formal sub-contracts
• Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) approval – Enhanced Disclosure Level
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – Accreditation to Tech Manager Level

Preferred:

• Extensive experience in Physical Security deployments
• Experience in LAN / IPT & WiFI deployments Experience in undertaking Migratins and moves & changes
• Experience in Financial and Operational Report Writing and Analysis at the Director level
• Qualifications – Prince 2 and BICSi

Relevant Experience & Training:

• Extensive experience in Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling deployments
• Extensive experience in Project Planning activities
• Ability to produce and deliver client presentations in a clear, concise, and confident manner
• Ability to absorb and manage new services and applications
• Experience and temperament to deal with multiple site design and production activities
• Proven ability to motivate and develop project team personnel
• Experience in delivering services against formal sub-contracts
• Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) approval – Enhanced Disclosure Level
• Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – Accreditation to Tech Manager Level
• Preferred but not Essential Extensive (minimum of 5Yrs) experience in Physical Security deployments
• Extensive experience in LAN / IPT & WiFI deployments
• Experience in undertaking Migrations and, moves & changes
• Experience in Financial and Operational Report Writing and Analysis at the Director level
