What Will You Do?
- Maintain pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property
- Provide an efficient budget and quality control on supplies and linen
- Monitor the preventative maintenance of the property
- Create and maintain a highly motivated and customer orientated team that exceed the level of customer service set out
- Maintain and control housekeeping labor costs
- Keep close communication with operations team
- Ensure all rooms are available for sale and all deficiencies are amended
- Maintain high level of communication with the General Manager and Operations Team
- Monitor all guest request to ensure they are met
- Properly track lost and found
- Strategic planning for housekeeping department
- Responsible for hiring, training and staff discipline
- Ensure checklists are being utilized and review for completion and accuracy
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure proper par levels are in place and order when needed
- Oversee weekly scheduling of housekeeping staff including approving time off requests
- Attend daily and weekly meetings with executive staff
- Maintain storage rooms and supply rooms to ensure organization and cleanliness
- Review, revise, and create SOPs to meet the demands and standards of the property
- Manage the day to day and long term outlook of the housekeeping department
- Flexible work schedule based off of need including weekends, holidays and evenings
- Work directly with multiple departments to ensure a smooth operation
What You Bring?
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
- Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Experience in a supervisor or manager position
- Must be available weekends
