We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with examination and treatment of patients, performing tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical records.
- Conduct pre-visit planning, including verifying patient information, preparing medical records, and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient demographics, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited healthcare program (e.g., Medical Assistant, CNA, LPN, EMT) or equivalent work experience.
- Nationally recognized certifications (e.g., CMA) preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
