onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join our Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst at its corporate headquarters in Scottdale, Arizona. The role will drive the costing solution on a Next Generation Inventory System Project:
Responsibilities:
- Drive the standard costing solution on the Next Generation Inventory System and will help usher in a new system including new processes and reporting tools
- Manage and drive Project Deliverables: Requirement Definition, Use Cases, Testing documentation, End User Training.
- Design Next Generation Costing System – including Cost Routings, Standard Cost Roll-Up, and General Ledger Accounting Requirements
- Assist management with training and coaching across the organization
- Costing and finance decisions on new manufacturing flows and business processes
- Configuration and review of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Finance design elements
- Business partner with Global Cost Accounting, Manufacturing and Business Unit Finance, Tax, Global Supply Chain Organization, and IT teams
- P&L and Balance Sheet account analysis; especially pertaining to inventory, manufacturing, and variance accounts
- Reconciliation and tracing of inventory transactions; determining impact to financial results and downstream processes like vendor payments, inventory valuation, costing variances, etc.
- Assist in month-end closing, preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, analyze inventory valuation, inventory roll forward
- Communicating and preparing materials for both internal and external auditors
- Work with IT to design and maintain Reports specific to costing, inventory, and Mfg variances
- Assist with special projects and requests from leadership as needed
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting and/or business related field. CPA or MBA a plus- 5 years of demonstrated work experience including Cost Accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of Cost Accounting / Systems and Manufacturing Finance concepts.
- Experience with Costing system design and ERP implementations
- Experience with Oracle Cost Management or Cloud Costing, a plus
- Semiconductor Manufacturing experience, a plus
- QlikView, Tableau experience or similar dashboard reporting preferred.
- Proficient at working with large datasets in MS Excel along with strong skills in other MS applications (Office, Word, PowerPoint) required.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment. Must be able to effectively prioritize projects and meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Able to effectively collaborate with non-local resources and establish solid relationships.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and interact cross-functionally at all levels of the organization
- High energy level and genuine passion for the work. Desire to grow in the role.
- Position requires up to 10% travel
