Storekeeper
Summary: The primary responsibility of the Storekeeper will be maintaining a store and/or warehouse by stocking material and supplies, performing inventory control and maintaining records, purchasing and other related duties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work that includes receiving, unloading, inspecting, labeling, pricing, shelving, and maintaining inventory
- Maintain an inventory of forms, supplies and equipment
- Rotate stock and arrange disposal of excess material
- Keep records of inventory control, cost containment and proper stock levels
- Handle freight, equipment moving and minor repairs
- Operate office machines
- Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of previous experience in inventory control, storekeeping, recordkeeping and other clerical duties
- Must be physically able to lift items above and below shoulder height
- Perform continuous walking, standing, reaching and bending
- Ability to read and carry out written and oral instructions
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug tests
- Must be able to pass a Physical Agility Test
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 14 days on/ 14 days off
