Job Summary: Inputs requisitions/requests into the Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS) and creates “pick list” reports. Maintains back order, open order, inventory adjustments/corrections and shares back orders and reports. Assists with patient charge entry and reconciliation. Performs inventory control tasks such as stocking, receiving and distributing materials, supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
1. Education: High School graduate or GED required.
2. Experience: 6 months experience in supply distribution required.
3. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: N/A
4. Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Previous Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS) experience preferred.
5. Other: N/A
Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Maintains back order, open order, inventory adjustments/corrections and shares back orders and reports.
2. Maintains equipment and their related materials to include usage, charges and location.
3. Assists with patient charge entry and reconciliation.
4. Performs inventory control tasks such as stocking, receiving and distributing materials, supplies and equipment.
5. Inputs requisitions and requests into the Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS).
6. Assists other Materials Clerks and Handlers with projects, tasks or questions.
7. Creates “pick list” reports.
8. Stocks, receives and distributes supplies and equipment.
9. Distribute, process and accounts for all materials, instruments and equipment.
10. Accurately enter patient charges and troubleshoot charge issues.
11. Able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
12. Proficient in use of personal computer.
13. Excellent telephone etiquette and clerical skills.
14. Excellent organization skills.
15. Attention to detail.
16. Able to communicate with other members of the Materials Management team.
