Wheelchair Van Driver/Van drivers
Ontrack Transport is currently looking to hire 1 Wheelchair van driver, 2 van drivers and a Saturday only Wheelchair/van driver to join our professional team of drivers to transport passengers to and from medical appointments. We are looking for drivers who are interested in working long-term and who are fully dedicated. The potential candidates must be highly motivated, demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills. The candidates must be able to work in a professional manner with staff and co-workers and must be energetic,highly proactive, empathetic, reliable, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
-Safely operate wheelchair equipped vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations
-Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate member pick up and drop off and resolve any issues or concerns.
-Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery.
-Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any issues or maintenance needs.
-Adhere to schedule and routes provided by the company
-Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
-Must be at least 26 years old
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
-Must have at least 2 years of driving experience as a licensed driver
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with loading and unloading wheelchair vans
- Knowledge of route planning and navigation systems.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
-Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members effectively.
-Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and clients.
-Ability to lift heavy objects, if required for the job

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
