Vice President of Marketing

Onward Search needs a full-time (direct hire) Vice President of Marketing for a CPG/wellness related company. This is a high growth, dynamic company with a commitment to quality and innovation.
This position will entail a hybrid work model based at the headquarters in the Baltimore, MD suburbs.

As a Vice President Marketing you’ll:
Develop marketing goals and objectives following strict industry regulations
Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy to the Executive Team
Assure all sales goals are met through clear and actionable market communications
Regularly produce and present reports to leadership
Plan and be responsible for the marketing budget
Determine KPI’s for the marketing department
Possess the ability to represent the organization in media, at conferences, on panels and other public engagements, as needed

Skills & Experience Needed:
Directly supervise the work activities of others and make recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
10 years’ experience in marketing leadership
Minimum 5 years people management
Demonstrated experience of leading marketing campaigns that meet or exceed company’s goals
Business Acumen - Understanding business implications of decisions and aligning work with strategic goals
Experience of P&L and budget management
Experience working in a high growth environment and atmosphere
Familiarity with brand standards or executing a brand revitalization
Demonstrated success in expanding market share or directly contributing to its growth.
MA in Marketing, preferred
