Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Content Management Assistant for a Global EdTech company.
You’ll join the Solutions team to deliver print and digital production assets for all product lines including template creation, composition, file conversions, quality assurance, accessibility. This is a 6 month extendible contract opportunity. The role is located in NYC and is fully remote (EST).
Content Management Assistant Responsibilities:
Ensure that all template/pattern construction, supporting documentation, and production processes adhere to established best practices.
Compose pages using a variety of production software tools and technologies.
Create project templates and annotated sample pages to meet ongoing needs of program/ product.
Review template construction for adherence to published best practices and production processes, and remediate as necessary to achieve desired standard outputs.
Work with project template/pattern libraries and sample pages/screens; modify these as required to deliver on-going needs of programs/product.
Apply Accessibility tagging and/or remediation to production files in alignment with accessibility best practices and WCAG compliance.
Support updates within the authoring system and digital product content management system. Troubleshoot processing errors and solve or escalate as needed.
Content Management Assistant Requirements:
3 years experience in page composition and digital production
2 years experience with authoring/ composition systems and related technologies
Production workflow experience in print/ digital technologies
Familiarity with WCAG Accessibility requirements for digital products
Basal print and/or digital product creation
Awareness of content authoring, integrated publishing systems, content management systems, file store and page/ screen composition technology
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
Education:
BS/BA degree; Associated degree or related work experience
