The Systems Engineer II supports systems engineering principles throughout the system's lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement. The Systems Engineer II supports interactions with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts. The Systems Engineer II supports communication with other TDP project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives. The Systems Engineer II supports the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area. The Systems Engineer II supports contributions to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents. The Systems Engineer II takes direction from more senior personnel. Maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. Developing tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended. Leveraging Python, C, Linux.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience. Automation experience; Researching and designing automation technology; Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs. Experience with configuration management and tracking tools such as Ansible, Terraform, puppet, chef, GitLab. Experience in VM Ware.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in working Development Operations; automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams. Experience with use case development, requirements derivation, developing technical project artifacts.

Required Certifications: Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 4 years of position-relevant work experience. High School and 13 years experience, Associates and 11 years of experience. A candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.
