**Production Technician**
**Job Overview:**

A Production Tech is the craftsperson who makes it possible for us to create OpBox units. The Production Tech will report directly to the Production Foreman. In a diverse and exciting environment, this role has the opportunity to perform all different stages of constructing an OpBox unit.
In our growing business the Production Tech is asked to complete a range of tasks to support and enhance the daily operations of OpBox. Within our small team the Production Tech's involvement is an extremely important one. Whether it is assembling composite parts, assisting in systems installation, or caring to the OpBox facilities, this role is on the front line of innovation!
**Duties:**
- Thoughtfully execute building tasks associated with OpBox assembly phases
- Work in the warehouse to organize materials and components for production
- Assemble and fabricate parts according to specifications
- Utilize and maintain equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety protocols
- Building and grounds maintenance to keep a tidy and efficient work space
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets effectively
- Support Production Foreman and independent contractors as needed
- Regular reporting and communication to Foreman and Director of Production
- Continual learning & creative input
**Qualifications:**
- A positive attitude is required!
- At least 3 years previous experience in the trades (such as, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or composite manufacturing)
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues during production
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting and handle various materials. Familiarity with heavy equipment and rigging is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
