Referral Coordinator works in health care facilities where they perform coordinating referral appointments, sending referral forms to health records, answering phone calls, transporting patients to specific facilities, and verifying insurance information. Provides support to providers and clinical team to ensure patients are scheduled in a timely manner and the next available appointment slot is offered.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Vocational/Technical degree as MA or LPN required.
Additional experience:
Either a minimum of 1 year of LPN experience or 3 years of Medical Assistant experience is required. Office, clinic or hospital experience preferred.
Either an LPN license or Medical Assistant license is required.
