Position
Our Marketing team is constantly evolving, always creating new ways to achieve their goals. Each member has specialisms covering traditional, digital, and social media marketing bringing together a strong team supporting Sales and the wider business.
We are looking for a passionate people person to help take our lead generation onto the next level. Working on the phone, analysing our prospect database, undertaking research and following up on existing and new quality leads for our New Business team. The role, along with the rest of the marketing team gets the job done and makes a difference.
- You'll be the first voice from OGI for our prospects, from following up on enquiries to calling and qualifying leads.
- Working closely with our New Business sales team, you'll generate callbacks and appointments for them to follow up.
- You'll coordinate and manage the prospect database, ensuring new leads are added and current contacts are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using our prospect database generate qualified leads and set up appointments for our New Business sales team.
- Contact leads and enquiries that have been created from our marketing campaigns generated from marketing campaigns.
- Using our Salesforce CRM, analyse and identify prospects that are warm leads to contact.
- Identify and cold call prospects and leads to qualify interest and update contact data.
- Manage customer questions and record any customer objections for feedback to the relevant teams.
- Identify new business sales opportunities.
- Monthly reporting against set KPIs and targets.
- Conduct desk and phone research to identify new contacts and leads to expand the prospect database.
- Manage the prospect data on our Salesforce CRM. Be responsible for the accuracy of contact and account information. Ensure all new leads generated are added to the CRM.
- Improve data segmentation, fill in the gaps and provide a more complete profile of prospect records.
- Record the detail of each call within the CRM to maintain accurate contact history.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Educated to A level (or equivalent), with two grade C or better passes
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above (essential)
Experience:
- 3 years experience in telemarketing lead generation within a business-to-business environment (essential).
- Understanding of the UK general insurance market (essential).
- Understanding of all GDPR regulations regarding the handling and processing of personal data (essential).
- Experienced customer relationship communication skills with the ability to work passionately to get the job done.
- Knowledge and experience of general insurance software (advantage)
- Experience in the operations of insurance brokers and MGA (advantage).
Skills:
- Is comfortable with technology and able to use a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce or similar).
- Ability to self-motivate and self-manage your workload to achieve your goals.
- Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Excellent time management skills.
