Your Mission
The Azure Monitor Architect is responsible for designing and implementing monitoring solutions for Azure-based systems and applications. This includes creating custom metrics, analyzing logs, and creating alerts to ensure the performance, availability, and security of systems are in line with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement monitoring solutions for Azure-based systems and applications
- Create custom metrics, analyze logs, and create alerts to ensure the performance, availability, and security of systems are in line with business requirements
- Work with development teams to ensure monitoring solutions are integrated into new systems and applications
- Work with service owners to continuously tune and adjust alerting criteria
- Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related issues
- Ability to define best practices around monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Continuously improve monitoring solutions to meet changing business needs
- Stay up to date with new Azure monitoring features and technologies
Your Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure Monitor and other Azure monitoring tools
- Experience with Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Automation
- Strong understanding of performance and availability monitoring
- Strong understanding of log analysis and alerting
- Strong understanding of Log Analytics, KQL, and Azure Workbooks
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Terraform
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, and PaaS services
- Experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
