Open Technology Group has supported the Food and Drug Administration as a Prime Contractor for the last 6 years in IT Property Management, Receiving, Distribution, and Refresh. We have the opportunity to add a PC Installation Manager to the contract.
Job Description
· Oversee New Hire Installations and Agency PC Refresh Installations
· Actively manage both OTG and subcontractor staff.
· Coordinate closely with the Installation Support Managers as well as the RDC Managers daily and adjust the schedule, staff assignments, etc. as necessary.
· Foster ongoing performance and quality.
· Ensure that OTG is able to meet FDA’s increased workload without falling behind on the installation schedule.
· Define and direct technical specifications and tasks to be performed by team members.
· Define target completion dates for tasks and subtasks.
· Define quality metrics, evaluation, and improvement processes.
· Monitor ServiceNow tickets & Inspect SLAs
· Perform Work Instructions reviews.
· Report the service delivery and deployment status.
· Provide guidance and assistance in coordinating output.
· Ensure the technical adequacy of the installations.
Basic Requirements
· Ability to manage resources, contracts, and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity.
· 3 years of PC support experience or knowledge of specialized principles or techniques equivalent to those that would normally be obtained through a formal four-year college/university academic program, or an in-depth specialized training program directly related to the type of work to be performed.
· 5 years of management and supervisory experience
· Working knowledge of network, data center, and PC management
· Strong organizational skills, including the ability to continually prioritize work to meet changing work conditions and customer requirements.
· Able to work efficiently with different teams and manage numerous tasks simultaneously under deadline pressure
· Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
· Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information systems management, Engineering, Computer Science, business administration, Information Technology, or another related field. or relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
· CompTIA A , Network , or Security required.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
