As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional software engineering teams to develop the processes and tools to deploy, scale, monitor and manage the performance of our software services in a public cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health measurements
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
- Identifying areas for the use of automation tools for the continuous improvement of all software systems
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for the distributed software
- Collaborate with software teams to identify sources of instability and drive operational excellence
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a startup environment

Minimum Experience Requirements:
Experience in Software Development, Operations, and Deployment
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Networking and network based Load Balancing
Experience with the development of automation tools for deployment and maintenance of distributed systems including testing automation, tracking and reporting.
An understanding of containerization toolsets and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes, Nomad, etc)
Experience in Linux and Docker
Experience with the scaling and support of commercial applications to public cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure)
Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and other tools
Fluent in one or more object-oriented programming languages (Python, C , Java)
Experience with software configuration management systems (git, svn, etc.)
Experience with FastAPI or other REST frameworks
Experience with serverless technologies such as Google Functions or AWS Lambda
DevSecOps (past experience or certifications)
