We are at a key time for the company in our product strategy and positioning. We need to build out the product marketing function to fully take advantage of the innovation coming from the product team. We are increasing our focus on enterprise customers, and will be adding an account-based approach to everything we do. Our partner channel represents significant growth, and product marketing has a key role to play in that strategy.
We have a new CMO who has a strong vision for transforming our marketing leadership function to drive this next phase of revenue growth. You will be a key part of this team. This highly visible role is a core collaboration point for product management, marketing, sales, and the partner teams.

Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US. We operate as a remote-first company, and invest in all-company meetings several times a year.
Performance Driven: We're looking for self-starters with a track record of delivering excellent results, but we're highly selective about who we hire. We don't focus on typical job requirements, instead, we're interested in specific examples from your past experiences. All positions can be based anywhere in the US, and require up to 15 days of travel per year, with senior management and leadership teams requiring up to 35 days.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is generally between $125,000-$140,000 per year and depends on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Enablement: Act as a subject-matter expert on messaging, market position, and competition. Develop content, case studies, and demos to aid the sales process.
- Demand Generation: Collaborate with demand generation to create content aimed at growing the pipeline and supporting revenue growth.
- GTM Launch Program: Manage the product and feature launch strategy to ensure effective deployment, market penetration, and resonant messaging.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitor moves. Regularly review and update content and brief revenue teams. Customer Advocacy: Develop and implement a customer advocacy program, including case studies, reviews, and building a community of advocates.
First 30 Days:
- Develop a forward-facing strategy for the development and growth of a customer advocacy group including cadence, content, and cross-functional opportunities.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders across product management, sales, and the partner teams.
- Learn about OpenSesame products and solutions and be able to accurately speak to their opportunities and position in the marketin market.
- Support revenuesales enablement as a subject-matter expert on messaging, market, and competition.
- Craft a strategic approach to managing an outbound communications strategy centered around industry analysts, product placements, and earned media opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify ongoing opportunities in sales and success enablement, product training and documentation, and customer engagement.
- Analyze marketing and sales data to identify opportunities to provide product marketing expertise in support of pipeline goals.
- Create a market research program focused on delivering key insights and feedback to internal stakeholders while scoping actionable outputs from this research.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop net new assets including case studies, messaging guides, battlecards, and more.
- Distill and optimize processes around product documentation and training.
- Meet with cross-functional stakeholders to identify collateral needs and coordinate across marketing teams to manage resources, set deadlines, and scope projects.
- Deploy an ongoing and optimized GTM strategy to bring new products and features to market in an effective and impactful way.
- Become an internal expert on OpenSesame's brand, products, and market position with an emphasis on competitive analysis and internal enablement.
- Scope and lead strategic direction of quarterly campaigns and large marketing projects across an annual editorial calendar.
