The Training Design and Delivery team is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of company wide frontline training curricula. As a Hub instructor in EWR, you will be responsible for supporting the training team to deliver training and post training support in a variety of different subjects including Cabin Appearance, Lavatory and Potable Water servicing, Passenger Assistance, Baggage Acceptance, Interior Search, Flight Deck Clean and Electrostatic Spray. You will work with Station leadership and collaborate with UGE Learning and Development leaders for instructor certification progress and the strategic development of learning resources to effectively support Hub job functions.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- Manage multiple requests/projects and prioritize based on operational need.
- Manage a classroom and OJT of frontline and management employees.
- Maintain instructor qualifications as required for efficiency trainings needed for Hub work.
- Able to self-manage in projects, instructional, administrative, and financial responsibilities.
- Support Hub transitions
- Support with training logistics documentations for any prerequisite requirements
- Other tasks assigned, as necessary.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Timely and accurate completion of reports, training sign offs and project deliverables
- Can manage multiple projects, priorities and deliverables against deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills- be able to build strategic working relationships with the operation and other departments.
- High level of MS Office proficiency required (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Maintain cross utilized qualifications.
Preferred Experience
- High School diploma required.
- Minimum 2 years of Airport Operations experience
- Experience teaching in a classroom environment or otherwise transmitting.
- Experience in a leadership role (i.e., Local Ramp Instructor, Qualified Instructor, or Supervisor)
- Knowledge to audiences using various mediums.
Other
- This position may require up to 20% travel.
- Must be able to work any shift assigned (morning, mids, overnight, weekends and holidays)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
