Essential Duties:
• Handle specialized packaging of product for stocked product.
• Perform specialty packaging per customer guidelines.
• Case or tote labels per guidelines.
• Label selected rolls or boxes per client specifications as required.
• Safely operate assorted shrink wrapping equipment.
• Aid in maintaining packaging specification booklet.
• Quality check product processed through assigned station.
• Assist in putting away finished goods as needed.
• Assist is processing sales orders as directed by supervision.
• Properly operate the equipment (ie: pallet jack, heat gun,).
• Maintain their area by cleaning and stocking at the end of the day.
• Empty all trash in the area daily.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to do simple math.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have basic mechanical skills.
• Job requires extended standing and repetitive motion.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to treat others with courtesy and respect.
• Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
Training and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
• Stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Fingering, grasping and feeling small ball bearings.
• Talking, hearing and repetitive motion.
• Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
