SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Center Manager, complete cleaning of areas as assigned including, but not limited to kitchen, bathrooms, hallways and lobby areas. Complete CACFP duties as assigned, other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Complete all housekeeping duties (COVID-19 guidelines must be followed) as assigned, on a daily basis, using chemicals in a manner that comply with all DHS Health and Safety protocols
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of shift
- Alert Center Manager of low supplies or needed repairs
- Shows an attitude of cooperation and support as a member of the team
- Respects the confidentiality of records pertaining to the center
- Fulfills Department of Human Services annual training
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
CACFP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, sort, and deliver food to individual kitchens and classrooms
- Prepare meals for serving to children
- Serve meals and snacks to children
- Complete Point of Service documentation of CACFP meals and snacks
- Clean kitchen and dining area after meals and snacks are served
- Date and store leftover foods
- Track baby food and nonfood supplies and report to office manager when items need to be ordered.

- Minimum age 18 years
- High School Diploma or GED and CDA Certification
- Ability to perform all activities as described above
- Detail oriented
- Dependable
- Complete all CACFP yearly trainings
- Complete all DHS required trainings on an as needed basis including CPR, 1st Aide, Mandated and Permissive Child Abuse Reporting, Fire Safety etc.
- Personable phone manner
- Ability to relate well to children and their parents
- Desire to learn and develop within the philosophy of the program
- Ability to report to work in inclement weather
- Ability to make logical decisions that are in the best interest of parents, children and the program
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

- Ability to sit, stoop, run, stand, walk, bend, lift children, carry 30 pounds, be outside in all seasons, hear within normal ranges and see within normal ranges.
