Job Summary:
The VP of IT is responsible for overseeing the technology investments of Opportunity Partners. This executive position implements Information Technology (IT) solutions while directing the IT support and software/hardware development for the organization. The position serves as the organization's primary security officer and provides leadership on relevant technologies and trends for the executive team.? This position will manage and oversee the IT Team.
Salary: $125,000 to $135,000 based upon your years of experience

As part of our team, you will:
- Develop and maintain software and hardware computer systems and communications systems to provide accessible tools and data for efficient record-keeping, reporting, and communications.
- Continually learn about the business and mission needs of the organization and coordinates, prioritizes, and executes efforts relating to IT.
- Develop strategic and operating plans for systems that are cost effective and meet the needs of the organization. Works with departmental management to determine methods to improve data integrity and access.
- Participate fully in executive leadership of the organization.
- Develop and manage the budget so that the IT department operates in a cost-effective manner within budgetary limitations. Duties may include but are not limited to a) determining needs; b) developing budget; and c) monitoring expenditures. Budgets are developed on an annual basis, monitored at least monthly.
- Monitor the health of on-premises and cloud-based technology solutions.
- Possess effective vendor management skills to deal with 3rd party vendors and consultants in the areas of computer hardware, digital networks, telephones, and cloud-based systems.
- Research and select vendors, ensuring that specifications are clear, negotiating price, tracking billings, handling conflicts, directing correction actions, and reporting significant updates with OPs executive team.
- Act as a project coordinator on large company-wide efforts, such as ERP.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and integration of systems so that the operating departments can access, focus on, and accurately measure desired results from data.
- Provide leadership as the organizations information security officer. Support the data privacy officer.
- Develop and implement information security processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and conduct staff training. Develops onboarding training materials and coordinates organization specific software, systems, and information security for staff. Works with the Training Department to fulfill annual training requirements.
- Build and maintain documentation, including software licensing, relating to on-premise and cloud-based systems.
- Hire, train and direct IT staff. Setting team and individual performance standards and evaluating staff performance. Serve as a mentor to IT staff.
- Develop and maintain the technology strategy to meet future organizational and service needs.
What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?
- ?Bachelors degree in IT related studies is required,
- 10 years IT and business/industry experience,
- 3 years managing cross-functional projects and teams, including project management (ERP, EHR, and CRM preferred)
