OPS Consulting is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work in Laurel, MD.
Job Description:
Senior-level experience is required with manufacturing of mechanical systems that are interfaced with electronics. This experience is gained through 15 years in positions that require at least an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline.
Required Skills:
Experience in these areas should span the early-stage market analysis/concept generation phase through at least small-scale production and quality control. Additionally, experience with managing supply chain concerns and/or managing government regulations (including export control, IP protection, etc.) is highly desired.
Security Clearance:
A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, material science, or a related discipline
- Experience with at least two of the following:
- Vacuum systems
- Cryogenics
- Electronics packaging and interconnects
- Custom electronics assemblies
