OpSource is searching for a 1st Shift Monday - Thursday Warehouse Distribution Associate in the Spartanburg, SC area.
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
7 AM - 5:30 PM
As a Warehouse Distribution Assocaite, you will perform processes involving pulling and shipping distribution orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates customer orders due to ship, generates pick tickets, creates packing lists, pallet tags, and initiates advance shipping notices.
Obtains shipping quotes for customers. Coordinates and communicates with Customer Service Department to ensure accurate freight invoicing.
Creates necessary shipping documents and labels for distribution.
Pulls orders and processes them for shipping.
Assists in shipping and receiving departments as needed (including unloading containers).
Scans and saves all customer packing lists in appropriate files, distributes packing lists to customers.

Education and/or Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or minimum one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
