Lab Quality Inspector

Job Title: Warehouse Quality Technician Department: SC Warehouse Reports To: QA/Safety/Security Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-exempt Prepared by: Human Resources Date: 7/9/19 Summary This position is responsible for supporting the company’s goals by performing Quality duties. Duties Collect, process and label samples of the incoming shipments and transport them to the quality lab. Distribute samples to customers as required. Document sample distribution in the inventory management system. Perform daily inventory of all incoming and outgoing locations in inventory management system. Perform weekly full inventory in inventory management system. Assist personnel in use of learning management system. Assist in the training of personnel in quality control and sampling procedures. Assist with creating and revising QA, Safety and Security Procedures. Monthly Fire Extinguisher Inspections. Daily QA walk through. Assists with outside security procedures. Surveillance of work areas to ensure compliance with Quality and Safety Procedures. Report any outages to Warehouse Manager. Glass and plastic audit. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities No Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and /or experience Minimum 3 years prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Mathematical skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Requirements Computer literate; Proficiency in MS Suite programs. Reasoning ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Physical demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to communicate effectively with others. The employee must be able to use their hands and reach with their arms. The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stoop. The employee may lift or move up to 30 pounds. Work environment Employee works in a warehouse setting. The noise level is high.
