Logistician

Argos Business Innovations, LLC is a contracted implementation consulting firm performing work at Hill AFB. We are always looking for motivated, energetic people who want to learn and grow with our business. A full-time Logistician position is available to join our team.

Logistician Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of labor and material standards, shop capability, work control documents, and associated data to accomplish production processes
• Understanding of planning documents such as master routes and standard operations
• Understand how to perform planning setups in relation to capturing critical data
• Knowledge of building & maintaining planning documents
• Ability to manage all Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Ability to assess current and future workload requirements
• Know how to monitor data systems to review, analyze, and resolve maintenance constraints
• Proficient in data capture and management tools such as Excel and other tools including SQL logic
• Develop, manage, and analyze performance indicators or metrics for specific trends, recommend corrective actions and make necessary adjustments in production schedules
• Research and initiate production planning, manufacturing, and modification process improvements
• Perform preliminary investigation and analysis of work requirements through coordination with production personnel and supportability functions
• Regularly analyze workload requirements to plan labor, equipment, and facility support
• Determine the impact of proposed workload changes or acceleration/deceleration of production schedules
• Evaluate scheduled repair of individual end items and provide information to the Master Scheduler and Supportability Specialist for forecasting efforts
• Ability to train government planners in daily responsibilities

Qualifications for Logistician

• Bachelor's degree (or anticipated graduation by December 2023)
• Effective communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated
