Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Belle Fountain. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the admissions process and ensuring that all new admissions are welcomed and settled in the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with central admissions and facility staff, conducting local marketing of the facility, and ensuring that the clinical team has admission documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with central admissions and facility staff to ensure that all admissions are coordinated and processed efficiently.
- Connect with all new admissions and families to ensure that they are welcomed and settled in the facility.
- Complete contracts with new admissions and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Provide tours to potential referrals and ensure that they are aware of the services and facilities available.
- Conduct local marketing of the facility to increase awareness and attract new referrals. - Brief the facility team for admissions and ensure that they are aware of any medical equipment needs.
- Monitor bed management and communicate necessary room changes to the clinical team.
- Ensure that the clinical team has admission documentation and that it is completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare admissions coordination or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of SNF regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and other relevant software applications.
