Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Receptionist to join our healthcare facility in Belle Fountain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all reception desk duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and providing excellent customer service. The Receptionist will also assist with typing and overflow from other departments and be able to handle stressful and emergency situations of all types with tact and diplomacy.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently display a cheerful and positive attitude and conduct all interactions in a professional manner
- Consistently answer phones promptly and be courteous and helpful
- Contribute to the team effort, assist co-workers when needed, and offer constructive suggestions
- Maintain order at the front desk area by replacing records in their proper place, disposing of excess paper, and eliminating clutter
- Greet visitors, staff, and residents promptly in a pleasant, courteous manner
- Make prompt effort to answer questions, to resolve problems within the scope of the Receptionist responsibility, or notify the appropriate Facility representative
- Act as a resident information center giving resident room number and unit to visitors
- Welcome and direct visitors, job applicants, vendors, and contract services entering the Facility
- Place supply orders for facility office supplies, healthcare supplies, department supplies as directed by Administrator or supervisor
- Support admissions team by entering demographics of new patients
- Prepare documentation packets and form copies for various departments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations of all types with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
