POSITION PROFILE:
The Warehouse Lead’s primary responsibilities will be to support the Supply Chain Operations to include stockroom outfitting, receiving, kitting, inventory control, and shipping functions.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Assist with the receiving, kitting, staging and shipping processes in accordance with Warehouse policies/procedures
- Maintain Inventory Control and accurate inventory balances
- Maintain a high level of service in the warehouse
- Maintain warehouse security and safety
- Assist delivery companies to coordinate services
- Perform Inventory Cycle Counts and report results as required
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Lead other warehouse associates to accomplish the day to day duties and responsibilities for the stockroom.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 5 - 7 years of experience as a Warehouse Lead or Associate with hands on experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- High School education with relevant job experience.
- Group leader experience
- Understanding of supply chain and logistic concepts
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs including MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
- Familiar with ERP systems; preferably SAP
- Ability to interface professionally with internal and external personnel
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- This position may have requirements for occasional after-hours and weekend support
- Must have U.S. Protected Individual status
IDEALLY, YOU'LL ALSO HAVE:
- Experience and knowledge base with SAP
