Optimae LifeServices is hiring a full-time Team Lead to work in Adel. This is a supervisory position. Applicants should be caring, creative, and passionate about working with people experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and/or Developmental Disabilities. Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years post high school education in a human service related field or two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience serving persons with disabilities if preferred
- Able to pass a required background check which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse, criminal record, and driving record checks.
Duties:
- Provide direct service to customers.
- Serve as mentor to site/community staff.
- Schedule staff and individual appointments.
- Orient Entry Level Mental Health Professionals (DSPs) and other staff working the site or in the community.
- Maintain customer files including safety plans and Strengths & Needs updates,.
- Update Service Coordinators regularly regarding overall customer services, site operations, and staff performance.
